I have had severe vaginal itching and irritation for about 6 weeks now. I first thought it was a yeast infection so I bought an OTC one day treatment, and it did seem to help for a little bit. Then it came back. The itching is on the inner labia and anus, as well as the outer labia and inner folds of my thighs. I have no "bumps" on the inside, but I do have what appears to be "chafing" on the inner creases of my thighs. It's really raw and it burns to wash. I recently started Avonex (interferon) injections to treat MS. Also, I seem to be getting alot of ear infections. My MS doctor ran alot of blood work on me. Besides my White blood counts (which were high)everything else was within "normal" range. He even did a Westergren Sed rate? I'm scared I could have HIV. I'm married now and in a monogomous relationship, but I did have 1 partner about 3 years ago that I didn't know very well. (I'm ashamed to say) I used a condom 100% of the time with him, but... It seems like my immune system isn't working right. Please offer some advice (besides the obvious go get an aids test)
