First of all, I am not a doctor at all. I have taken estrostep b.c. pills for over two years and I have extremely light periods. Sometimes I dont even need any pad or tampon. I have also skipped a few. It is probably just because your body is more used to the pill, but that's just my non medical background opinion. Hope it works out:)
