My period is here almost the whole month...what should I do? My period comes and goes when it wants to and I don't know how or why it's happened. I'm only 18 and I've been dealing with this for over 2 years now. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do and my family doctor isn't really much help. He tried to perscribe me bcp's, but they only made matters worse. I bleed either the whole month or almost the whole month. I don't know anyone that has had the same problem, so I have no one to ask about it. I've been hoping that it would just out the blue stop, but it's still the same thing. I've grown co accustom to it that in the morning and night it's a part of my daily schedual to grab a tampon. I wish I could just be normal like everyone else and not have my period for so long. It's even been effecting my sex life. Is there anyone out there that can help me?
