Lapidus M.D.: "Re: Bleeding" I am 32 yrs old and had my third child 8 mos ago. Ever since the birth of my last child I have had an issue with bleeding during intercouse. I have had an exam and ultrasound and both indicated no cause as to why this is happening. I have been doing kegel exercises and using lubricants during intercourse. Could I have been sewn too tight when I had my episiotomy and therefore when I have intercouse I tear which then causes the bleeding and if this is possible is there anything to fix it or could it be that the lining of my uterus is thinner and gets irritated during intercouse which causes the bleeding.
