I am 19yrs old and a virgin. I have always had problems with pain when being fingered or using tampons- until recently. I have a boyfriend of 8 monthes and I have become comfortable with both of those problems. However, we have tried to have sex on numerous occasions and the pain for me has been so overwhelming that he couldn;t even penetrate past my hymen. I have talked to my gyno about this problem many times and he has told me that he can tell my hymen is loosening and that it will just take time, and several sexual experiences, before I can enjoy sex without pain. However, the pain is so unbelievable, that we can't even have sex for the first time so that I can begin to become accustomed with it. My gyno suggested that I have a hymenectomy, but this would require me to tell my parents, and for obvious reasons, thats simply not an option. My boyfriend and I live nearly 14 hours apart and do not see eachother terribly often, so I am very frustrated that when we do, we are unable to have sex. Please give me some advice as to what to do, or if you have heard of this happening before. Thank you...
