I am a very small person and even after 10 yrs of marriage I experience this on occasion and it is usually when I am not fully aroused, and the changing position really does help.

Probably not, but why be uncomfortable and in pain? You may also want to have an exam done just in case, often times some pain can be causes by even the smallest cysts, but they are generally nothing to worry about and can go away on their own, or you can also be given the pill to help shrink them.
