Lapidus M.D.: "Re: Biaxin and late period" I have been taking ortho-tri-cyclen for almost a year and a half now and recently took biaxin for a respiratory infection. I usually start my period on tuesday night or wednesday. I am only a day late but i took an HPT that came up negative. the only weird symptom i have had is on tuesday my breasts were so sore that they hurt being in a bra. They are not as tender today and they weren't yesterday either. Should i be worried at all of pregnancy? or could it be something else? one last question: could biaxin be the reason why my period is late? thank you for your time Next message: Miranda: "Why me??"
