Thanks for your help. This sounds like a urinary tract infection (UTI). Sometimes they occur as a result of sex when bacteria is pushed up into the bladder area. It's very common-but you'll to see a doctor to get a prescription. The medication works very quickly and you should feel better in a day or less. A good idea is to drink cranberry juice- it won't cure an active infection, but it can help prevent them in the furture. A respiratory virus (cold) is probably unrelated to this. You really should get on a reliable form of birth control. What makes you think you couldn't get an STD? Guys don't always tell the truth about virginity.
