Medroxyprogesterone side effects? I'm 21, and have never had regular periods, but after almost nine months with nothing, my doctor put me on medroxyprogesterone every three months to force the bleeding. I used it for the first time in January, and it worked fine, but now, just over three weeks later I'm having another period. What's more, it's a lot thicker than I've ever experienced--very "slimy." Is this a common side effect? I have a follow-up appointment scheduled for April, but I'm concerned that I should move it up if this is atypical. -- Thank you. :) Next message: Lola: "Discharge?"
