I have noticed a brown discharge days before I expect to come on my period. The smell seems pretty normal, but I have had it for 3 or 4 days now. I am a little worried if this is abnormal or if it is just old blood. If so then why a few days before I start my period? I am very nervous because I have also had painful menstral cramps during each one of my periods. I would greatly appreciate any information that could be provided on this issue.
