VirginityFrom: Lily (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 24 Jan 2003 18:25:24 -0600 (CST)
I was unfortunatley, never taught what physically happens when the Hymen is broken. Is there bleeding everytime? Also, recently I had an emergency in which I had cists on my ovaries, when the doctor examined me (my first exam,) he said that I was "small" and had to switch to smaller instruments. I was in immense pain and screamed out several times. Could this mean my hymen opening is very small and that I could need to have it cut/opened, or whatever. I was very near passing out during the exam and I was wondering if that amount of pain was normal. I in know way have a low tolerance for pain. I am getting older and wanted to question these things in the event that I am in a position where sex may occur. I don't want something crazy to happen like me passing out or blood pouring from my body. Thank you so much!
