If you have your own physician, why are you going to a clinic? BV is almost never transitted between sexual partners- it's more likely it hasn't gone away completely, and you could possibly have developed a yeast infection also since beginning treatment. Talk to your doctor about taking the medication beyond 5 days or switching to another one. He/she will probably want you to come in to the office. I kind of doubt you were misdiagnosed, but you will probably get more comprehensive care from your own doctor. There are probably some clinics that do PAP smears, but why don't you go to your own physician who could then keep complete records of your care and thus can have a complete picture of what's going on with your health.
