Previous message: anonymous@obgyn.net: "abnormal ovary" I am a twenty three year old women and I have always had a history of irregular periods, but I have never went more than a couple months without a period. I was on Depo Provera shots for a year and a half and had one irregular pap smear when I was on it, the only one I have every had. I went off Depo in June and I had a period in August and September and haven't had one since. I also started taking effexor in September. I just had my annual exam last week and I was given pills to start my period, it hasn't started. The dr. who gave me the pills told me that I would get my period and only people with serious problems suxh as brain tumors don't. Needless to say I am now scared there is something seriously wrong with me. I also am in a serious relationship and want to have children and am worried about my chances of concieving.
