child w/hypoglycemia - doctor's opinion, but others are appreciated

My 9 yr has difficulty in school (tries hard, but problems concentrating, etc), had frequent emotional outburst, and at times seemed depressed. I called Pediatrician and was sent to psychiatrist, who prescribed Zoloft. I saw a change in 2 days. The psychiatrist wanted her tested for learning problems. Psychologist tested and found ADHD. Adderall was prescribed. School work better and no emotional outburst at home. Everything great until recently.

My daughter has started seeming sad again, having bouts of dizzines, and sometimes shakey before breakfast. School nurse belived she had an ear infection causing dizzines. Ear Nose Throat doctor found only sinus drainage. I've known this dr all my life and he knows my family medical history. He believes my daughter may have Hypoglycemia and that she's being overmedicated with the Zoloft and Adderal which is masking the hypoglycemia. He's order a 5-hour glucose tolerance test, CBC, thyroid, etc. to be run. Insulin dependent diabetes runs in my mother's family and I bleive also in my mother-in-law's family.

Does anyone have any experience like this? I hate medicating her with Zoloft every morning/Adderal only on school mornings. If she has ADHD, medicine is needed to help concentration/focus. Before medicine, she was making D's and F's. Now, she brings home C's and above. I know that schooling is very important, don't expect her to be perfect, and just want her to do the best she can.

Thanks for letting me vent and again any opinions/ideas would be greatly appreciated!
