Carpar Tunnel from using a vibrator?

I have recently bought a vibrator for the very first time. The first few times I used it, it felt wonderful and I was able to orgasm. Lately though, (a month or more) I haven't been able to reach orgasm at all.

For the last week or so, I have been experiencing some numbness in the fingers of my left hand (I always hold my vibe in this hand). I am worried that because I don't respond to the stimulation, I am holding/pressing too hard with the vibe, and maybe hurting my hand.

I don't feel pain in my hand, but this numb feeling started a week or so ago. I have read that numbness in the first two fingers can be a carpal tunnel symptom.

Could this be what's wrong with me?

I really don't want to see a doctor about my fingers and have to explain that I think I hurt myself masterbating..... I feel dirty sometimes just for having the toy or doing anything... I couldn't talk about it with someone.

My middle finger was affected - alone. Then I felt some in the first finger as well. now the middle finger is better. So, if I quit using my vibe for awhile, will my fingers get better without haveing to go to doctor?

PS: Do use a computer quite a bit, but not 24/7. If I type one handed, I use my left hand. I also use a wrist pad at my keyboard.
