If I am not mistaken, "jock itch" is a yeast infection. You say it is
not itching though. He really needs to see his Doc to make sure things
are okay with him. If it needs treatment, then the doctor can prescribe
something.
You also need to see your doctor to see what is going on with you. S/he
can culture to see if you have a yeast infection. If the OTC meds are
not working for the what you think is yeast, then chances are, you are
not dealing with yeast.
