The effects of the last Depo-Provera shot can linger for months after it's effectiveness as a contraceptive is guaranteed. Your bleeding pattern (or lack thereof) is almost certainly due to the Depo. It should return to normal over the next 3-4 months. If not, you will need to have your Gyn help you return to a normal pattern.

Condoms are not 100% reliable against the transmission of infectious agents, including HPV.
