Lapidus M.D.: "Re: Amoxicillin and Ortho-Tri" About a month ago I had my wisdom teeth pulled and was given Amoxicillin to prevent infection. I specifically asked if it would decrease the effectiveness of Ortho-Tri and was told no by both the Dr. and pharmicist. I had sex w/ my bf at this time. Last month, I got what I thought was a period (it was very light and lasted only 2 days)however, this month my period is over a week late. I have had a lot of stress in my life and lost a considerable amount of weight in a short time...or is there a good possibility that I'm pregnant?
