I am 17 teen years old. I have been on some kind of birth control for the past 3 months. I am on birth control due to dysmenorea {heavy and un normal periods]. My first month I was on the pill, but I always forgot to take it. Then I was on the patch but that was a mistake it fell of all the time. Now I am on the shot. I am worried though. I heard that girls gain weight, that it messes their period up after they are taken off, and I also heard that your body starts to get older. Can some one please send me some info on it.
