Question about Depo shots......

Hi. I am currently getting Depo Provera injections as a form of contraception. I been getting them since march 2002, so I am due to get my 4th injection this month. According to all of the information on Depo Provera, your period should be stopping now. For the time that I have been taking the injection I have not bled at all and now the past few days that I have been getting closer to my due date, I've had some spotting and uncomfortable cramping and pressure in my abdomen. I used a heating pad, which usually works for menstral cramps, and it works as long as I'm sitting down. The second I get up, the pressure and pain comes back. I've been trying to make an appointment with my GYN but they say it will be at least a week. I was just wondering if this is normal or if I may have something else going on...and if so, what might it be?

Thank you so much for any help you can offer, Tina
