What is the normal amount of vaginal discharge for a woman to have? I have been discharging daily for about 5 months. It is a clear, thick mucus that usually doesn't smell. Sometimes when I go to the bathroom to urinate I have a big clump hanging from my vagina that looks similar to snot when you blow your nose. I was wondering if this was something caused from being taken off of the depo-provera shot , which I received for over 3 years, or could it be something caused from smoking cigerrettes or maybe from stress. Most days I hve to wear a pantiliner b/c my panties are wet from the discharge. I have an appointment at the health department on the 21st of January , I set it 3 months ago. They couldn't get me in before then. Do you think my problem is serious or is it o.k. to wait until my appointment and see how my exam does. thank you
