Too young??

I recently had my first gyn exam. I'm 21 and I wanted to go on oral contraceptives, so I went cuz I needed an exam to get the pills (they won't give you a perscription for them without the exam). When I filled out the medical history form before the exam I was honest and put that I lost my virginity when I was 14, which I don't think is that big a deal. I've been with the same man for 7 years so it's not like I'm permiscous or anything. And yes, we have had unprotected sex before. My cycle is really regular and I know when I ovulate, so I'm not that worried about getting pregnant. I just wanted the pills because I thought they might help with my killer cramps.

When the doctor saw that I lost my virginity at 14, she began a 45 minute long lecture about having sex too young. She said that you need a gyn exam before you have sex. And that I was seven years late getting my first pap smear,(which came back normal anyway). She was kinda rude and clearly did not approve of my choice. I know my body pretty well and if something was wrong I would have gone to get an exam if I thought I needed one. Everything came back normal, I have no STD's or anything, but she made such a big deal about when I lost my virginity. I can't cange what I did in the past, so why did she give me such an attitude, even at the follow up after all the results came back? Do you guys think that I was too young?
