Doctor, Recently I was diagnosed of pregnancy and because of my masters I opted for TOP. During May'02 TOP was performed. Immediately after that I started pills. In the first and second month the periods were late by 3-4 days. but in the third month there were clots of blood coming during the whole month as well as during my period I was having constant chronic fever and swelling of stomach and pain. After consultaions with my doctor I changed pills. With the second pills also the condition worsened. So I left the pills, and its 2 months now. Last month my period was delayed by 4 days. This month I haven't had periods and the same swelling, pain condition persisits. I am confused a lot and have lot of questions. 0)Why are these occuring to me? 1) What should be my next action, any specialised tests? 2)Will this condition be there forever ? 3) Will this affect my next pregnancy? 4)Is it common, do lot of women have these? 5)How long can this happen?
