Re: Syncope and periods

I am 22 and have a very similar problem. I had back surgery 2 years ago
and since then have been fainting frequently, although it gets much
worse around my periods...and I do mean MUCH worse. My family doctor
has seen no correlation either, but does agree that it is hormone
related. I have seen all of the doctors and have walked away with
basically no answers. I really thought I was alone in this...they have
made me feel as though I am crazy, it is in my head, no one else has
ever experienced such a thing. Before my surgery, I had only fainted
twice in my life - once while giving blood, and another when I got
severely dehydrated due to the flu. I would love to talk to you and
discuss symptoms and such.
