Birth Control and Sexual Function

I've researched this question a bit before I'm now posting it, but couldn't find any answers. I realize birth control (tricyclen) can cause decreased sexual desire, but can it be responsible for decreased sexual function?

I'm 23, but have a LOT more difficulty achieving orgasm than I did when I was 18, just before birth control. I began taking anti-depressants (Welbutrin) just after I started birth control, and always assumed that this was responsible for my decreased abilities. But I stopped Welbutrin 9 months ago, and my ability has only improved a very minor amount.

Do you know of any reason for a correlation? I don't want to have to bring this up with my doctor if it is obviously unrelated.

thanks for the advice, -Emily
