Lapidus M.D.: "Re: spotting" I had a episode of spotting for the 1 time..I have been feeling irritated my annual was 2 weeks ago and I am a couple of days before ovulation and I have my usual mucus discharge but I had a little mucus ball tinged w/ blood and noticed a slight pink discharge on my panties.i stuck a tampon up but there was no blood on it..where could thuis be coming from? my gyn said my culture had a lot of bacteria found in the bowels..could this be infection..I am not on birth control..
