Mid Month bleeding, discharge, discomfort....HELP!

I am a 26 year old woman. For the past 1-2 years I have been concerned that I have something wrong with me, and have been to two different doctors, neither of which can find anything wrong.

I experience mid month bleeding every month before my period (starts about the week before), painful intercourse, and bleeding during/after intercourse. In addition, I have always had a thin, tight stomach. Even though the past year or two I have worked out and watched what i eat more than I ever have in my life, my lower abdomen is larger than it ever has been, plus I have lower pelvic discomfort.

I have always had very heavy periods, and experienced, heavy, thick smelly discharge. One of my last doctors diagnosed me with recurrent bv and has me using acigel every week. While the discharge no longer smells, I still have every other symptom I have described, including thick discharge. I had an ultrasound which showed nothing and my doctor suggested that I switch my bc pill, which i did, about 3-4 times, with no change in any of the other symptoms. I just recently was diagnosed with dvt in my left calf, due to traveling with a foot injury, so I had to go off the pill completely. I was almost hoping that these symptoms would magically disappear. but they haven't

Does anyone out there have any idea what this could be? Also, aside from the ultrasound that my doc diagnosed and normal pap tests, is there any other test I should have my doctor perform? Help!
