Endometriosis is a strong possibility, although you should rule out hernia in the groin area, as well as hemorrhoides, fissures as causes of rectal bleeding.

I have also been experiencing some pain in my rectum upon defecation accompanied by rectal bleeding, which only seems to occur about a week before or during my menstrual period. I have been doing some research and I am now worried that this might be due to endometriosis, for which there is not clear diagnosis and no treatment. Could it indeed be endometriosis or could another condition be causing these symptoms?
