I then went back to 28 days for the next 2 months. Last month I had bleeding every couple of days up to day 22 and then had a period on day 28. This month I had a smear on day 15 upon which the nurse commented on the excessive amount of 'jelly like substance'. I have had bleeing again this month on day 20 and day 22 (today). I also experience just before this 'breakthrough' bleeding a feeling of uncomfortableness in the lower pelvic area. Is this anything to be concerned about. I am 34 years of age and have 3 children (the youngest being 3 years of age).
