question for a professionalFrom: ANON (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 25 Nov 2002 18:15:26 -0600 (CST)
Hi. I was wondering if it is possible to know for certain whether or not ones hymen membrane is fully intact just by looking at it. Would a professional be able to tell just by looking or would they have to use medical tools? Also, if the hymen tears slightly due to exercise, would one be able to see the tear just by visual inspection? What does it look like if the hymen has been torn due to exercise? Will the hymen still bleed during first intercourse even if it is torn slightly previously due to exercise etc. Thanks for your response.
