Back in March a lady called Sarah was considering taking Beta-mannan to treat her dysplasia, and wondered if Beta-mannan was just a scam. Dr. William D. McIntosh thought it probably was, but then another subscriber emailed to say she had used it and it was working for her. So, I was wondering if a) Sarah had used it and if so did it work? and b) Does Dr McIntosh still think the same thing, or has he found out anything to change his mind about this. I am asking as obviously I'm thinking of using Beta-mannan. I would like to give my immune system a chance to fight off the cause of the mild dysplasia I have developed rather than simply cutting away the symptoms......especially in light of the fact that this might eventually be the course of action I have to take if a series of Leeps fail to address the problem. So, does anyone have any info about this product or first hand knowledge, or know why the 'medical' community might be ignoring this as a potential treatment? Thanks for any advice.
