My ob-gyn did a laparoscopy on me in Sept. And he hasn't been able to do a pelvic exam yet, and a urologist forced me to go through one and it hurt like he**, and my gyn tried to do a transvaginal ultrasound, and he couldn't get through my hymen. So while he had me asleep in the OR, he did a pelvic, and discovered that the reason none of the above could be accomplished & the reason I can't use tampons is because my hymen is imperforate.
