28 days is an average. Cycle length varies from woman to woman and even in one woman, often from cycle to cycle. If you want more info, have a look at Toni Weschler's book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". (You can just read it at the book store or at the library.) It teaches you how to "read" the signs your body gives you and takes the guesswork out of it. Easy, and soo good to know.
