#1) And this would be as opposed to US doctors who, by virtue of their citizenship, have never acted in an unethical manner, none of them, ever??? Hey, I've lived here long enough... #2) Only young, healthy and attractive women get assaulted? Oh please. #3) No offense to the docs on this board, but any profession has a tendency to protect its own, no matter whether they actually did sth. wrong. The police, lawyers, doctors, riests... being French is not the problem, but rather really, really liking your income and benefits and maybe having a teeny tiny God Complex. Again, I've lived here long enough to know that this happens anywhere, even in the US. (and yeah, insert sarcasm here) #4) Where did I say that if a woman feels assaulted, she should take a shower? If she does think something untoward happened and feels like pursuing the issue legally, more power to her. Sue his pants off.

My last word on this. Anna
