I have been on Ortho-tricylcin (OTC) for about 5 months now. I am on day 17 today, and yesterday I started menstrating, which, I shouldn't have until day 24 or day 25 (as usual). However, I chose to skip my period last month as it was during vacation, so I went from day 21 to day 1, eliminating the placebo period. (therefore if I hadn't skipped the week, I'd be on Day 10 of this cycle). But I don't quite know what I should do now with my pills. Do I keep taking this pack, or, should I on Sunday (which would be the first sunday after getting my period), start a new pack, once again, skipping the placebo week as I am menstrating now? Or, do I just keep on this pack as normal and hope everything works out? And how does this affect the actual effectiveness of the pills? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
