Dysplasia means abnormal cells and it can affect any part..vulva,vagina,cervix,but most commonly found in cervix.it is classified to mild, moderate and sever.Mild cases usually need follow-up with no treatment as it is usually regress spontaneously.Moderate and severe cases are treated by cryocautery, laser or removal of part of cervix by LEEP(using loop with electric current),before any of these colposcpic examination(examination with magnification)with biopsies to confirm the diagnosis should be carried out.
