In January of 2002 I had an abnormal pap smear. In July of 2002 I went to the emergency room with severe right side pain and a major migraine (which I get often). They had me have an ultrasound which came back with the result that I have cysts on my right ovary. They werent sure if this was what caused the pain or not.Last week I was getting the same pain and some discharge.I made an appt with my dr to have another pap test done.I had that one done today. My 1st question is...He told me that I am too young to have cancer (I am 22),Is this true?...And also, during my pap test I started bleeding not spotting but bleeding as if id started my period, but its hard for me to accept this as a period because my cycles have always been normal (for 10 years now) and I wasnt sure if it could just jump out of whack like that.He told me I had some bleeding of my cervix or something like that.He also told me that I would have some spotting. But I am not spotting...I am bleeding...Is this normal? I have never bled from a pap test before. He gave me a prescription for a yeast infection and told me to come back in a week that the infection was most likely the cause of the bleeding.I have never had a yeast infection before but I didnt know you bled because of a yeast infection. Please help...Im scared and confused...Thanks!
