Hi. Im 18, never sexually active, and have suffered from chronic pelvic pain for about 2 and a half years. Over the past few months, my pain has changed its pattern (went from constant everyday to more severe pain just before menstruation and also around ovulation) and I have had spotting in between my periods. Would the spotting combined with the change in pain pattern signal anything? Im not on any medications for the pain, or any type of Pill, only medicine for hypertension. Also, is it usual for chronic pelvic pain to change its pattern after so long? I asked my doctor and she said that its not surprising that it changed, but Im not sure. No cause found for pain, laparoscopy done 2 years ago. Thanks
