Lapidus M.D.: "Re: Early period, not normal, scared" I have been on orth tri cyclin for two years now, last week I missed two blue pills and took two on the same day. Two days later I started spotting, but the blood is so brown it's almost black, like it looks "old" and it has continued from Sunday, until today (Thursday). Is this normal, and what is up with the dark blood? The only things I can think of that I'm doing differently is working out 3 days a week, cardio and weight lifting. I don't think pregnancy is an issue right now, cause I have not had intercourse in a about three weeks and at that time my pill use was regular! Please help.
