You don't have to go to a gynecologist for a PAP smear at this point. When she has her next physical at the pediatrician, the doctor will ask when she first started and whether she's been regular. The pediatrician can advise you on if and when you would need to seek a specialist. Most of the time this is normal. It doesn't hurt to call the pediatrician in the meantime. The only other cause of bleeding that I can think of is from a kidney infection, (I'm not a doctor) but she would have other symptoms.
