It could be the start of her periods. Remember, periods can be very irregular for the first few years after your daughter starts.

If she has any other symptoms, such as itching, irritation, etc., it could be something else altogether.

If you are at all concerned, and you sound as if you are, call her pediatrician and discuss with him/her. If nothing else, it will bring you piece of mind.
