In the first month of taking Microgestin, my birth control pill, I had bleeding in the last week of my active pills (the 3rd week). For the first two days of my inactive week, I had light bleeding and then I stopped bleeding altogether, so I assumed this was OK becase I had already "used up" my blood when I had the bleeding and the doctor told me that it was normal to have intermediate bleeding. Today is the 2nd day of my inactive pills (my 2nd month on the pill) and I haven't started my period. I assume I'm supposed to be starting today, but I'm worried that it hasn't started yet!! What is going on? Does it take 3 days without active pills to start your period? Help!
