Hi- I am 20 years old and on birth control pills (I have been on them a little more than 2 months). I was on antibiotics (Amoxicilin) for ten days starting July 31 (did not know about the bc interaction). I got my scheduled period on August 5 (the start of my placebo pills). Since that means that most of the time I was on the antibiotcs I was on the placebo pills does that mean that the antibiotics weren't a problem then? Also I was taking a barbituate with asprin and caffein at the time (didn't know that was bad as well). The only backup was our usual withdrawal. I'm not supose to get my next period until next Monday, but starting Friday (the 23) my breasts have been sore- not really the nipple though- under it and the sides. Also I got really bad gas on Thursday (the 22) - worse than ever and really bloated. I have had bad headaches for a while (but I attribute that to sinuses and the fact that I have nose surgery July 9th), but I also have had some nausea in the afternoons lately, and dizzy and lightheadedness. I know all my symptoms could be attributed to other things- but the breast tenderness is too early for pms and I never get that anyway. I am afraid to test because I think it would be negative and a waste of money. Should I only worry if I don't get my period next week or test anyway? Thanks, > > Mel
