Alesse and ovulation

I am on Alesse, which is one of the very lowest dose pills. This is my 1st time on birth control pills and I have been on them for 4 months, and never experienced breakthrough bleeding with it, even when late in taking pills.

I recently missed a pill and did not make it up within 24 hrs but had no breakthrough bleeding etc, how likely is it that I ovulated?

Does the time of the missed pill (2nd week of active pills) make it more likely that I could have ovulated?
