Hello, I'm 8 months post with first child, 24 years old and I had a recto-vag fistula repair at 5 months post I still have air/gas coming out of me..My doctor said that it's common that women have this after having a baby that air not gas just gets trap for a period of time...I'm wondering if that was the case then why the crap did he want me to have the surgery..He tells me this after having all that crap done and i'm still in pain big time! So is this true that a woman gets air trapped inside sometimes after having a baby? Also why i'm a still doing it 8 months post.. He said I had a small pin size fistula and he fixed it! And now his answer to my air problem is it's sometimes common..Please tell me if you think this is true..I'm in so much pain and clueless on what's going on..please help! He said he couldn't find any other fistulas..What do you think is going on? When i pass gas it does come out my vag..You would think I still have one..But he said no and told me what I said up there..Thanks...I'm broke from this surgery I have NO insurance and can't get help from the gov.. What can I do....
