Re: HPV without warts?From: Adria (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 26 Jul 2002 10:44:26 -0500 (CDT)
But I still don't understand. My doctor is not explaining anything to me. HOW can someone test positive for HPV when they have only had sex with another virgin?? Also, you are saying that a cervical biopsy will tell whether or not I have HPV? That means that the positive result from this "new DNA test that wasn't around 5 years ago" (as my doctor calls it) is not accurate then? God I wish this all made sense to me. I guess being a good girl doesn't pay off anymore? :( Apparently STDs can be transmitted even without sex these days. Wishing I could understand, Adria
