Re: depoveraFrom: Robin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 7 Jul 2002 11:55:14 -0500 (CDT)
Hi.... I had problems once stopping the DP myself. I did not have a period while on it, which was great. I did not have one for seven months after stopping it, and then, I had one every two weeks! I am still having them every two weeks and it is now just about a year since I started bleeding. I tried Progesterone alone to help regulate my periods, but that did not work. I then tried Oral Contraceptive Pills (OCP's), and that did not work. Dr. Shanahan, one of the docs on the boards, mentioned an endometrial biopsy, which I am now working up the nerve to have done. If you are having problems, talk to your Dr. If s/he is not listening, find someone that will.
