Chances are, you are okay. Having said that, it is always best to use a back up method of contraception in the first full month..meaning, once you start your second pack, you can for go the back up method (of course, if you are not in a monogamous relationship, you should always use condoms to prevent STD's....herpes, HPV, HIV/AIDS).

Stress can cause your cycle to become irregular, even on the pill, so try and relax. If your period is late, take a pregnancy test and see what the results are. If negative, retest in a week if still no period. The pill can also change your cycle to being very light to no period at all....if there is any doubt in your mind, ask your MD to run a blood test for pregnancy, and that should rule it in or out.
