Kelly Shanahan, MD, FACOG: "Re: bleeding after sex" Hello, I've noticed lately that i bleed for a few days after i've had sex. I am not a virgin, and haven't been for many years. I went about a year without having any sex at all, and recently when i did start having sex again, I noticed i bled for several days after i had sex. Is this normal? what could be causing this?
