I am currently 7 weeks pregnant. I vistited my MD last week and she advised that any brown spotting was probably quite normal. However, 5 days have passed and yesterday I noticed the brown spotting had returned - very scant and usually present during bowel movement. Today, I got quite a fright - I noticed quite a thick brownish discharge with streaks of what looked like blood (reddish). I'm really worried! I've searched the archives to no avail. Can anyone suggest some insight into this matter? Your help would be greatly appreciated. I will contact my gynae too. Thanks.
